Cottage, Swanston Village

The rain in the morning doesn't arrive, even though the radar says there is rain, so I head out for a short bike ride. I slow down near a grassy area to watch a magpie and a crow are having a bit of a disagreement. A bit windy, but the rain stays off for the ride. I time it just right, and the rain starts just as I get in.

the rain stops after lunch, so fine for the walk up to Swanston. No excitement of a deer this week. One of the cottages in the village is having the render replaced. It looks quite nice stripped back to the stone work.From here to home, there is a little light drizzle, but a lovely walk nonetheless.
