The call of the sea

So today we have come to the seaside. We visited Apex park at Burnham on Sea. We walked along by the estuary where sailing boats were moored. It was lovely to hear the seagulls with their mournful cries over the sea. Beautiful sunny day, blue skies with white clouds on the horizon. There was a lake at the park where we saw a cormorant catch an eel and after diving down with it a couple of times it then swallowed it whole. We also saw a grebe and a heron and some ducks. Now we are at a holiday cottage in the Somerset levels. An extra photo of Charlie too.
