A Picture Tells a Thousand Words

Salt Water Creek, usually bank to bank most of the time. I have never seen it so low which means the adjacent wetlands is very nearly dry. Oh dear, the birds are walking in the remaining water instead of swimming!! And there are a lot of birds as most farm ponds and waterways have dried up also.

When will it rain - all of New Zealand are asking this question. Nothing on the radar for March it seems.

Had a lovely surprise visit from dups and R this afternoon.....great to see her up and looking much better.

We've had to contact the neighbours again regarding their stock.....one death and another one almost dead....makes me cringe and feel sick at the thought of animals suffering through lack of care....it seems they haven't had any water. I'm disgusted!!!

And, worthy of note is our black Socks are the World Champions in the softball world, isn't that just great. Good on them, beating Ozzie and Venezuela to get there.
