We got away from all the Scottish  election hullabaloo to a very cold Heritage trail. The further away from the town, the quieter it gets. Funny that.
After 14,000 steps,  I attended Chez Molly to give her a free run. Will was home from work as they  were beaten by the weather.  I must admit, I was glad to get inside myself and have lunch. Star was happy to crawl onto her bed and crash out.

My malted bread,  which the bread maker had baked, was out. Then I baked a  gingerbread,  with crystalised ginger and ginger syrup icing. 
 
My back is complaining  tonight,  but I'm happy. Let's  hope that continues when the ballots are counted. I hope everyone  has voted that is entitled  to, as too many people have given so much for your right to do so.
