The promise of courgettes

Taking care of the small plants that S grew from seeds. They are living on the bathroom windowsill until the nights get warmer and they can move to the potting shed. These will be a first for me if they produce fruit.

A busy day. We took Amber with us to the polling station when we went to vote this morning. I managed to get some cards and sausage rolls on the way home. 

This afternoon B had an appointment with the dental hygienist, so I went with him and sat in the car listening to ‘60’s Country music and knitting whilst I waited. We called in past a DIY store and supermarket for a few items on the way home. 

I met one of my sewing group leaders in the DIY store. It was good to briefly chat to her, she was working there so we didn’t have long. 

We have managed to stay dry so far, B is out coaching athletics this evening. The skies in the Lincoln direction look suspiciously threatening.
