The Ferry

Back Blip

We stayed locally and combed the beaches for sea glass.

Later we took the passenger ferry and bought a pasty for lunch.

After chilling out in the courtyard for the afternoon, we had dinner on the green and listened to a father and daughter singing, with only a guitar as an accompaniment.

I'll have to go back to the area, as I had a great time. Back up North tomorrow :-(

The ferry crossing between Shaldon and Teignmouth can be traced back to 1296, but it's probably much older, with origins in Saxon times.
