I‘ve blipped this panoramic view near my mother’s village  before, and plan to make it a blip series through all seasons.

However, I had not planned to spend the day at her house. But this morning her carer sent a message that she could not be there today. After getting her 2nd Covid jab yesterday, she got a strong reaction, felt feverish and ill, and needed to stay at home.

So I shopped and cooked for my mother today and stayed with her for the afternoon. I took this photo on my way to her house, and it shows the last bit of blue sky before the rain started. 

Every drop of it is very welcome, but I‘m less happy with the temperature: 7°C this afternoon, possibly snow tomorrow. Is this really May?
