Peak Tulip
A lovely spring day in which to wander off to the Polling Station and wish with all my heart that no-one votes Tory. And of course everyone votes Yes to the Neighbourhood Plan.
I'm fairly (fairly) confident that the Plan will get the go ahead when all the votes are counted over the next day or two, but I wouldn't care to hazard a guess as to the regional mayor or the police and crime commissioner.
Afterwards, we went off to Dyrham Park. The deer have sadly been culled because of rampant bTB spreading through the herd, probably from the farmed cattle that share the landscape.
I took a long lens anyway, and it paid off in the rather splendid tulip meadow, where are retired all last year's tulip bulbs.
