Dead fly

Gross I know - another busy day at work so snuck in a 22nd hour macro of a fly that's been lying, dead, outside our kitchen window for the last few days.

I don't particularly like insects, but all macro photos (insects or otherwise) show me something I've never seen before, and doubtless would not see without the aid of the lens.

This was actually overexposed but, oddly, looks better than the others.  This was the only one that wound up with the front pointy bit in focus - curious!
