The White House / Das Weiße Haus

I feel ongoing relief that America’s White House has been cleansed of the previous administration’s racism and extremism.

Opposite my present home we have our own white house.  Just before the recent extreme-right May Day march, some knucklehead decided to daub ‘White Power’ slogans on the wall.

Thankfully the main offense was swiftly expunged, but the authorities seem to have missed this earlier effort. Or maybe they are leaving it deliberately, to embarrass halfhearted and illiterate Nazis? :-)
