In the Woods

We started today’s walk from the end of Stevenson Road and walked downstream by the river.  The bracken and flax have grown so much that for most of the walk you could only see glimpses of the river and the track was a bit overgrown.  Most of the leaves of the stand of poplars that you pass through were on the ground but still golden.
