Happy Mothers Day

I've just finished work, it's 1am, I'm looking forward to my present the boys have been whispering about all week and them bursting into my room with excitement in the morning!! (A few hours time)

I took this for my mum, it's her favourite flower. I was lucky enough to have a beautiful clear blue sky at the time so I thought I'd use it as a background.

My mum is magic, she's struggled with mental health since she had a stroke when pregnant carrying me so she's had her good days and bad days. Sometimes she wasn't with us and had prolonged periods where she was sick and in hospital but when she was with us she did the best she could. I remember sitting as a young girl watching her do her hair and make up thinking she was the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I hoped I looked as beautiful as her when I grew up.

I never knew how hard motherhood was until my boys came along, I take my hat off to her, despite her problems she is still the most beautiful woman I've ever seen and I love her so much! X
