Bluebell surprise

I had planned to go to these bluebell woods that we’ve explored before but thought it was a bit early this year. What a surprise to arrive to the woods carpeted in purple everywhere we looked! The smell was amazing too.
I’ve seen them lots before but never quite like this I don’t think. The kids were amazed too; such a lovely afternoon spent wandering and we found the little pond too, which A & M dipped about in, eventually spotting some crested newts!
