Tulip

Our second day of grandparent duties.  Once again we took our grandson out for a morning walk to the beach walking the opposite direction.  It was sunny as we set off but we noticed a dark looming cloud as we were walking by the beach.  Both my husband and I got drenched in the brief downpour but Lucas was dry within the transparent rain cover.  The sun was then shining and birds singing as we headed home.  

His second visit was to the playground where he enjoyed watching all the older children who had just come out of school running around and having fun.

Todays blip is of the flower structure of one of the tulips.  I hadn't realised the stamens or pollen, were dark blue, as they look black from a distance.
