'Erected and Endowed by A Danby V Harcourt' 

I spotted this little gem in a side street in Masham, North Yorkshire.

Some searching reveals this to be Anne Holwell Danby Vernon Harcourt the wife of Admiral Octavius Henry Cyril Vernon Harcourt, the 8th son of the archbishop of York. Between them they endowed a number of schools, churches and almshouses in the area.
