Canal Walk

An inside day of writing at work followed by a canal walk in the evening with daughter. The canal banks were very quiet and I disappointed to see that the workers have mowed the edges destroying all the wildflowers that were there last week. Orchids, primroses, Cowslips, bluebells to name just a few that are now destroyed, makes me mad as it's so pointless.
