Double-dosed

My second Covid jab was done today and, as before, the process from booking an appointment by text (last week) to receiving the jab today was very efficient indeed.  

My only anxiety had been that as the 12th week got nearer (today was exactly 11 weeks since my first was done) I started to think that I might have been forgotten and I struggled with not ringing the GP to check.  

I understand that people getting their first jabs online when the slots became available for their age group booked their second one at the same time, which would have been very reassuring.  

I'm now feeling relieved and fortunate.
