Pond guard.

A few errands to run today, that was after our morning walk, noticeably more people going to the railway station today than of late. 
Was out and about as the better half, slaved over the work laptop, tried not to feel too guilty about my spare time today. Noticed this pond guard during my adventures, looked striking, so thought, why not, why not indeed. Was nice and sunny out, then in the late afternoon, black clouds, heavy rain, thunder & lightning, crazy. Sunny again now, like it never happened (that's if you ignore the puddles everywhere),crazy weather. 
As for the evening, the better half has made a bread & butter pudding, am sure that won't last long.
