Just needs to warm up a bit

Lots of salads growing, just a shame it is not salad weather. I did in the end manage to create a bit of sunshine for today - not warm and it didn't last all day - but there was sun . . . and I got all the washing dry. We have snow forecast tonight!!

The Guardian is 200 years old today and in this morning's edition there was a facsimile copy of the first edition - May 5 1821. Interesting reading. Alone amongst newspapers it has kept its independence and the mantra: "Comment is free . . . but facts are sacred". No wonder it is read all over the world.
