Not ...

... Mono Monday.

To welcome me back from vacation I had a dentist appointment this morning ... thankfully it was just a routine cleaning.  All went well. 

On the way home I stopped at the grocery as we needed  food for the upcoming week.  It didn't take me too long to shop and I was home just before lunch.

Before lunch I spent some time out on the deck photographing my wildlife ... it was wonderful.  When I came back in I uploaded more of my vacation pictures ... I hope to backblip those sometime soon.  My goal is to have them posted before my surgery next Wednesday.

Later in the afternoon I returned to the deck for more nature therapy.  And as I was going back into the house I saw that another of our overwintered Eastern black swallowtail butterflies had eclosed.  We waited a bit before releasing him into the backyard.  This is butterfly number eight.  Four of the chrysalids had eclosed whilst we were on vacation and our pet sitter released them for us.  We had put her on notice to watch for any so she was prepared for the events.  And thankfully it was only four (out of thirteen) that we missed.
