Roadway Iron Work

A C (Alexander Charles) Woodrow were operating out of premises in the City (Holborn) in the mid 1920s but by the 1930s were based in Elmers End.

Thought to have closed some time in the late 1950s - the last commercial advert for the company appears to be dated in 1954.

Still going strong in a roadway nearby!
