Bottles

Have had a really good day again.

Went to Quex Park this morning. Have been meaning to go for ages, and I'm glad I finally made it. The Cotton-Powell Museum is fascinating, with dioramas of animals in their natural African habitat, various artefacts from Africa and India, animal skulls and weapons of various kinds (though they're not really my thing). All of this was put together in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, but were for scientific purposes rather than as trophies.

These were various items in formaldehyde.

Also had a look round the gardens. Came back to Deal and popped into a food fair in Deal to see the lovely lady who runs the foraging courses I go on.

Picked up a friend and went into Canterbury for dinner and to see the Canterbury Orchestra's concert - my friend plays basson with yhem.

Home now and will probably hit the hay before too long!
