:Llyn

Our visitors Llyn and Jim live in Minneapolis now… (a few blocks from where George Floyd died) but they were out to meet new great grandsons in Portland and then come to Seattle to see us.   They’ve been to the island a couple times… They wanted to see the salt water so we took advantage of this beautiful day and walked along Puget Sound for quite a ways.    Llyn and I met in college in 1960 …..we roomed together in our sorority house in Ann Arbor one semester...she reminds me that's where she learned to knit and play bridge.. but not a lot else.....and then lived in Seattle when we both had little kids in the 70s.   She and her first husband had a daughter, then adopted an African American daughter in Seattle who was the cutest baby I got to know…now that child had 3 daughters and the oldest of those daughters just had twins!   So much to talk about!    Llyn has been a nurse for hospice but now does “healing touch” for them.  She told me what to do for my broken wrist…and it’s pretty fine now so we’re going to work on healing my shoulder tomorrow!    They’re very easy  (we're ordering pizza tonight!) and it’s very fun to catch up
