Egglestone Abbey

One of many ruins visited over the past few days.
The lovely Carl knows that I like old castles/ruins/churches, so when he can, he will go out of his way to take me to them.
This weekend we have seen Pendragon Castle, Lammerside Castle, Brough Castle, Egglestone Abbey and Barnard Castle.  Not to mention several bridges, historic towns and stayed in a replica Iron Age roundhouse.
