We are on our way

Norfolk day 1

Things didn’t quite go according to plan,  arrived at the Humber bridge to find it was closed to caravans due to windy conditions so we had to detour around the Covid-19 vaccinations centre and get onto the motorway taking us on a fifty mile detour.

 We finally arrived at our site  on the Sandringham estate about 4 30.in the rain. Managed to get the caravan parked and then we took the doggies for a walk in the woods. On our return just as we started to erect the awning, the heavens opened and we had a terrific hail storm.

We finally settled down and had supper but  not before I had a couple of G&T’s.

My blip is of Sutton bridge, needs a bit more investigating.


WiFi not great so might not always manage a blip and comments might be a bit hit and miss.
