Crazy weather

This year's weather can't hold a candle to the glorious sunny days of the first lockdown last year. Most of April was chilly even when the sun shone, but today took the biscuit.

I was listening to music through earphones when I became aware of a strange noise outside. Turning the volume down I realised it was raining heavily. Actually, it was a hail shower. Hail! In May!

The government keeps talking about an 'outdoor summer' and mentions longer days and warmer weather which will make the vaccination bonus more palatable. All well and good in theory, but nobody thought to tell the weather gods.
