Oh for some summer weather

A windy, cloudy day, some sun and a hail shower!  Had some rain last night but not a lot.

I had a text from my friend's daughter this morning to say she was in hospital and she would keep me in touch.  So far have heard nothing, just hoping she's ok.  Did housework and then a friend came round for coffee, needed someone to talk too.  Had lunch. Went for a walk with S., called into the churchyard, cleared away the fallen branches.
Nothing remotely summery outside so the blip is some tiny paintings that are round the edges of a map of our village.  Skylarks always remind me of summer
