Elusive still life

I am trying to create at least one still life for my course. Not really satisfied with anything I have taken today but am sharing two photos with you all cos I can! 

The main are my computer glasses with their lovely chain and the extra is some fruit. Any and all comments welcome as always. 

Cold, windy and rainy here as I think has been all over the country!!
