Whorl

A trip over to Plean Country Park this afternoon and a wee wander around.

It was my second visit here this year, but the first where I have actually been able to get out of the car and go for a walk - the last time I came here, too many other people had the same idea and the car park was full, as was the overflow car park. A bit of a traffic jam ensued with different cars trying to enter, trying to turn and trying to leave. But no such problems today as there were only about four other vehicles and lots of space.

That made for a relaxing walk too. Not as muddy underfoot as I had anticipated and a mixture of sunshine and showers overhead, so it was a pleasant way to spend an hour and a half.

Much computery stuff this morning and a Zoom meeting tonight, which has at least one contentious item on the agenda. I imagine the usual suspects will already be sharpening their keyboard fingers, or whatever they do.

This fern seems almost ready to burst and scatters its seed to the wind.
