This little duck was determined to do his own thing..... mum was trying to organise her seven ducklings, but this little belligerent one was having none of it.  

A little girl, around two years old, was quite delighted with his antics, and clapping her hands, especially when the wee thing fell off her perch, and I was tempted to take a photograph of her, but when I asked her grandmother refused, as she said she didn't know if the parents would approve.  I quite understood that, and we had a nice chat.

We had a little heavy rain in the early afternoon but it did not stop us having our walk, and the sun came out while we were out.  Good result.
