Drip!

Today has been a mixture of sun, rain and wind but I braved the elements for a walk on the Old Racecourse.  There were only two other cars in the car park so most other people had more sense.

There was sun when I set off which turned to rain and wind almost immediately.  The rain continued until I was almost back at the car when the sun came out.  Typical!

The bluebells were blooming and there were still wood anemones and cowslips but I liked this moss and lichen covered twig with it's hanging raindrop.

I called at F's house as I was almost passing it where I was treated to cheese and onion on toast - very tasty too.

When I got home the rain returned together with a hailstorm.  We seem to have returned to winter!
