Best friends

Luna is now 6 months and 1 week old & been with us for 15 weeks. She ought now to be a tax payer but this week I kept forgetting to phone the parish offices to register her. Flash ought to be tax exempt as he is the 1st dog on a secluded property and is classed a guard dog! Luckily there are no tests of his aptitude required. However the parish only allowed him 50% rebate as we are within 500 meters of a property reachable across fields & streams (by road 1.1 km).
Luna has made leaps & bounds: no more problems with car drives, she ignores the chickens, is still careful around the horses, gets on very well with the cats even sleeping alongside Cindy. She plays hard with Flash & it will be interesting to see whether she takes over as boss one day - she is very self-assured. Negative: she continues to enjoy rolling in muck when no one is looking but luckily the last few weeks of snow have prevented this & she has an incredibly good sense of smell, following fresh tracks in the forest while turning off her hearing sense. I don't think she wants to hunt but is just interested from what the smell came. She has never left our property even though the deer have been within 10 meters of the house.
