First SLR photo ...finally!

Its about time too, I hear you say.
I've finally had my frist day of the Beginners SLR course and my head feels pretty full!
I played around with the Aperture and focal points today and this little flower was one of my favourites. Its not perfect by a long shot but I feel i've come a long way in a day. Still lots to learn and I look forward to getting out there and practising my new skills.
