Wet Wildflowers Galore
A wonderful walk in the quiet, rain-soaked woods at South Chagrin (SC3 from the shelterhouse to SC1 and 2). The hills were covered with wildflowers along the bridle path above and down to Sulphur Springs. It's always lovely seeing the dogwoods in bloom at the edges of the trees.
I came across some wildflowers I've not seen before, along with more common ones: heartleaf foamflower, roundleaf ragwort, dwarf ginseng, white, pink, and red! trillium, blue phlox, mayapples, and a few more I lost track of.
Thanks for your visits. I hope you're enjoying Springtime!
