Walking around a neighborhood in Yuma, Arizona, USA, this hummer held a pose until I could get set. More patient than I! Wrong time of year to be in the desert I discovered— hot, yes, and allergies blooming with the flowers. Pali verde trees are especially noxious but beautiful. So much more to smell.
