Tulip festival, Morges

One of the many beautiful tulips at this year’s festival at Morges. Left work at lunchtime and, with Alijay, caught the train to Morges where we spent a couple of hours walking around the park and photographing the tulips. It is the first time that I have visited the festival.

The extras show some more tulips as well as showing wider shots of the area where the festival takes place. (Learned how to make a collage tonight !). The tulips all had interesting names. Amazing to think that there is no charge for entry. We had a drink at one of the outside cafes on the lake front....it finally seems like life in Switzerland is beginning to return to normal.

It was 0 degrees this morning but we were able to eat dinner outside at 7.30 this evening in surprisingly warm weather.
