Plumage

Well, this is not at all the blip I wanted to post today! Had a trip out to Hatta Fort Hotel to show visitors the desert and mountains, so I wanted to blip 1. the camel at the hotel that is available for camel rides or 2. our beautiful mountains! However, the camel was sitting on a rug under the shade of a tree, and between 1-4pm, the sun was just too high in the sky making for extremely harsh lighting; besides which - I was driving! Having finished a late lunch and then wandering about taking photos, whilst leaving we spotted two peacocks on the road leading out of the resort.

Stopped and took loads of pics. This is the best of the lot! See the feathers and colours. Went on to Global Village from there where blip opps abound... but will have to save that for another day.

Beach and drive around the Marina/the Walk prior to heading out of town. It's been a long day but good too.
