Balcony/rain/vets

This morning after my walk, Ann spent a couple of hours on the balcony sorting out her pots. I was a bit of a pest. There wasn't really enough room for me on the balcony but I insisted on coming out to check what she was doing every so often. It was cold on the balcony, but as she'd bought new plants yesterday she wanted to get them into the pots. Anyway after a couple of hours, the balcony was looking lovely again, although we still need a few more plants and Ann didn't have enough time to put up the new solar powered lights because it started to rain.

….................And it has rained and rained and rained and rained. And it's still raining!

This afternoon I went to the vets for my annual check-up. My annual check-up should have been 3 months ago, but because of Scottish lock down that didn't happen. Don't really know why not because the dog groomers were still working during lock down. Ann wasn't allowed to come into the vets with me. The vet and the nurse came outside to get me and then Ann had to wait in the rain for me. They reported back to Ann that I'd been a very good girl so all is good.

After that I went for my afternoon walk. Fortunately I'd had a lovely run about in Braidburn Valley Park this morning. This afternoon I just trekked around the streets on my lead in the rain and it was so cold Ann had to wear gloves. Brrrrrrrrrr....................... It's May for goodness sake!

We've been home for a while now. We have all the heating on and Ann is wearing a sweater and her fluffy slippers. Obviously she's wearing other clothes as well?! Our weather app is telling us that it's going to be like this for the next week. Booohooo. Apart from Wednesday?! Apparently Wednesday is going to be a good day.
