Pretty little Clematis
I’ve forgotten the name of the Clematis that grows around the bin store but it never fails to produce these little flowers every year and then provide fluffy seed heads later in the season.
I’m very pleased I went out to photograph them before heading down to the marquee in Bingley to sing this morning. It was just starting to rain as we arrived and it was a bit blustery inside the tent but still only raining a little as we came out.
A good sing as usual though we hadn’t really learned the harmony on several songs and we had to print out three that we didn’t have in out folders. In two weeks, when the restrictions lift again, we are going to be rearranged so that he can do some teaching which will be good. The problem is that we are now a mixed group of those who have been singing 3 years and those who have been singing 5 or more and all permutations in between. So our repertoire is mixed too. All part of the fun.
A trip to pick up a parcel and then the rain really started as we drove home over the moor. A truly vile afternoon now!
Got to day 36 of my NZ trip on Flickr!
Jude is enjoying tomatoes now - extra - and very happy she is too!
Just found a back blip from 2014 and the clematis is called Blue Eclipse
