Beddington Park: Eclipse Gadwall
Even more marbled in large
Extras:
Goslings from above
Glowing golden goslings
Wagtail on the Wandle
Wagtail on the London Road
Im and I went to Beddington Park first thing; we saw Canada geese with little goslings (v. difficult not to blip them), grey wagtails searching for nesting materials, and a swan nesting on an island, but seeing this funny gadwall was the most unusual encounter of the day... When he was further away, I wasn't quite sure that he was a gadwall (a male in eclipse...), but then he opened his beak and made his comical quack.
Others here (or right from Canada goose under weeping willow)
p.s. I will try to blip something other than a bird tomorrow...
