Range finder

Today, I was ready to walk up a large pipe to identify it's Lineal length and to check its condition. We managed to track down a Range Finder and this eliminated the need to walk the pipe. The pipe is 1500mm diameter and 23m long, the range finder shows 22.826m thats 23m in my books. Now we are waiting the impossible for the Engineer to make a decision.
