Mother's Day

In usual McCann style we are avoiding the crowds of people taking mothers out for lunch when they'd probably rather be anywhere else tomorrow so we went for tea at the small, friendly, family run Italian restaurant near our house. It was delicious as always and although I couldn't have pudding because of my Lenten vow to give up chocolate I had a rather tasty liqueur coffee. Mmmmm! The children were, on the whole, very well behaved and I'm beginning to get a glimpse of how things might be once the children are older and more rational!!!
