Yet another church!

One last day sightseeing in Montreal. We started off visiting yet another church - Mary Queen of the World Basilica. This amazing church is the third-largest in Quebec, and is a scale model of St. Peters Basililca in Rome. The photo of the facade was actually taken later in the day in the afternoon sun. Then we went to Place Ville Marie to gain access to the Underground City. We had lunch down there and explored a little, then walked to Old Montreal to the Pointe a Calliere Museum, the Montreal museum of history and archaeology, which was fascinating.

By this time, it was about 5.30 and time for us to head back to Albany, where we were spending the night before a very early morning flight back home tomorrow.
