purple raindrops

It's exciting to see the irises around the neighborhood start to bloom. It was not so exciting to be caught in a thunderstorm on my afternoon walk. Thankfully it was only a little rumbling and drizzle when I was out, but once home the thunder rattled the windows and the rain really came down!
