Someone won't go to sleep
Didn't get out until 5pm, far too late to view the goings on at Stonebow Washlands, where my cousin had reported greylag geese with goslings and ducklings as well as the swans.
Baz and I had obviously arrived at bedtime. Dad was already comfortably settled while Mum was picking at the nest and one youngster was just too tired to tuck underneath her and had laid itself on her back.
The swanographer, the man who obsessively films and photographs the swans both at Stonebow and at Dishley Pool, was there. See extra.
I wrote a story for the DIG site and uploaded. One more story has come in ready to process tomorrow.
