A happy day...

Our friend Hannah, mother of our four young friends, found time to make me this wonderful birthday cake! What a great gift! We will need to share it!

We changed lunch for brunch because rain was forecast at lunchtime. We still managed the lobster and champagne from the menu, well, I did. D chose the Sunday roast. The rain didn’t happen but the change of time was good as it meant we could relax afterwards at the UK home/lodge of friends in Dubai, just to check it out, and also enjoy a slice of my cake.

I’ve been blessed by lots of cards and messages and calls, and Zoom time with my sisters this evening. A lovely birthday!
