On your marks

Had a day trip to the Isle of Wight to see a friend whose birthday is on Tuesday. 
We had a walk along the seafront at Ryde and coffee and cake looking out over the Solent. 
We then drove to Shanklin and had lunch - again overlooking the sea. A lovely crab sandwich for me.
The weather was very kind to us. This line of gulls were sunning themselves.
