Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Cor - vid!

Sunday today so church this morning and one of those days when I seemed to be super busy. I was doing the readings, both of them very powerful, the first from Acts was the story of Philip and the eunuch. The second was from 1 John, about the live of God.
It was our first Sunday having coffee afterwards and so we had additional safety measures to put in place. Keeping each other safe while having the chance to talk and sit together. We had to maintain the 2m distance, be masked if moving around and only have a maximum of two families at a table. All drinks had to be served to tables to avoid queuing. It all seemed to go ok though and I've spent part of this afternoon drawing up a rota for the next few weeks.
I popped down to see Kathryn and the girls for an hour or so, I took my thick padded coat for sitting around outside.
I popped into Tesco at Corstorphine and on my way back out came across this handsome crow sitting on the shrubbery. Not my sharpest shot, but no time to fuss. He /she had a sibling there too. They looked very clean and fresh I rather think they were youngsters. This one sat very still except that every once in a while it would bounce up and down.
I seem to have got away without any serious side effects. The only notable thing is tiredness so I'm off for an early night.
Keep safe everybody and look after each other.
