Smallest cake shop in town ...

My lovely friend, Hanneke, and I had a most enjoyable walk from her place along the Lancaster canal ... via the community orchard at Fairfield.

We encountered this (new) little gem at the start. We were very good ... and really enjoyed our blueberry muffins.

We also enjoyed see the ducklings, coots, wild garlic, bluebells and .. even more ... the chance for a really good catch up. A lovely afternoon ... and the threatened rain stayed away too!
