Surprised by joy

Surveying the mayhem in the May garden today - rampaging weeds taking off, apple blossom not a patch on last year’s wonderful show, and the collapsing fence panel still to be replaced due to my inertia throughout the long cold winter.
But then how lucky am I, with my own little bluebell bravely blooming.
